Finished watching Death Note XD well that was fun, definitely still my second favorite anime lol. I can’t wait to cosplay Light at A-kon this coming weekend >8D

I tried styling my hair like Light’s today as well and it turned out perfectly! I would have uploaded pictures, but I derped and was still wearing my glasses when I took them xAx so it’ll have to wait until after the con when I have pictures lol

I also wanted to add that I’m gonna be his Misa, so you’ll see us walking around on Friday :D

I’m sure I’m gonna be dying of heatstroke half the time, but at least I’ll wear short-sleeved shirts under the blazer/suit so that I won’t suffocate x-x

So I’ve noticed with Death Note cosplay that EVERY character is easy to mess up?

I guess it’s because most of the characters have really simple designs, but really, if you treat it like an easy, blow-off cosplay, it’s most-likely going to suck, plain and simple.

Just throwing on sweats, a shaggy black wig, a long white shirt and a shit-ton of eyeliner will not magically turn you into L. Don’t shop in Hot Topic to throw together an outfit for Misa, because she does NOT dress in Tripp or whatever. Don’t be lazy with Light’s uniform just because it’s a pair of khaki pants, a tie, and a suit-jacket-thing (its name escapes me at the moment).

…I think my blog might turn into half-cosplay rant blog or something.
